Course Brief

This is an introductory course in blogging and vlogging (video blogging) which will help develop students’ skills in creative writing and video production. Both has the same basic principles of creating engaging contents but differs on its mechanics and medium. This course will determine if the student has potential in writing and in video presentation.

Note: This course is for incoming Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) students only.

What to Expect?

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

1. Learn the difference between blogging and vlogging
2. Produce a blog article on a free-access site
3. Produce a vlog on YouTube

Materials/Tools Needed 

• Windows 10/Mac OS
• MS Teams, FEU Canvas, other FEU TamSpace apps, etc.
• A stable internet connection
• Electronic gadget/s

Assessment 

In this class, we have these three important course materials:

• Course Guide. This will provide you with all the information you need for the entire course.
• FEU Canvas Modules. There are three modules in this course, each of which has its own objectives, activities and requirements. Students are expected to participate in the activities and comply with the requirements.
  • Other Online Resources. Depending on the topic, the teacher will give links to documents/ readings and video clips that will be helpful for further understanding of the students regarding the course.
