What to expect?
This course is designed for students aged 13 years old & above who are making komiks, storytelling, and who want to be part of the growing community of komikeros in the Philippines.
Instructor Profile
Komiket, Inc. is a publisher and komiks advocacy group creating accessibility for local and especially first time comic creators, artists and readers. They nurture and grow the Filipino komiks community with the mission to provide opportunities for creators to market original work; to recognize and promote local talent through the Komiket Awards, and help sustain the winners’ next work through Komikstarter Grants; to discover new creators through the comic book creator’s workshops; to feature; to grow international awareness through the Philippine International Comics Festival (PICOF).
