Course Brief

This course aims to provide timely and sufficient information regarding the general economic downturn brought by the pandemic and how governments across the world are attempting to solve their economies.

Note: This course is for incoming Senior High School (SHS) students only.

What to Expect?

By the end of the course, students are expected to:

1. Know about economic disruptions that the Philippines and the world experienced throughout the pandemic;
2. Relate to the community’s experiences to the changes that pandemic-related policies brought;
3. Understand how the challenges (economic, social, and humanitarian) that the pandemic crisis created can affect the years to come;
4. Create a plan of how they are going to contribute to positive change during the CoViD- 19 crisis.

Materials/Tools Needed 

• Windows 10/Mac OS
• MS Teams, FEU Canvas, other FEU TamSpace apps, etc.
• A stable internet connection
• Electronic gadget/s

Assessment 

This class will have these three important course materials:

• Course Guide. This will provide you with all the information you need for the entire course.
• FEU Canvas Modules. There are three modules in this course, each of which has its own objectives, activities and requirements. Students are expected to participate in the activities and comply with the requirements.
• Other Online Resources. Depending on the topic, the teacher will give links to documents/ readings and video clips that will be helpful for further understanding of the students regarding the course.
