Program Duyog is a collaborative initiative led by FEU High School aimed at providing support for the education and overall well-being of students at Apolinario Mabini Elementary School. Through Program Duyog, FEU High School stands alongside the students and faculty of Apolinario Mabini Elementary School, offering not only material support but also companionship and solidarity in their educational journey.

The program encompasses various activities and interventions aimed at enhancing the educational experience and overall well-being of the students. These may include mentoring and tutoring sessions, provision of educational materials and resources, infrastructure improvement projects, health and wellness initiatives, and community engagement activities.

By fostering a sense of partnership and collaboration, Program Duyog seeks to create a supportive environment where students at Apolinario Mabini Elementary School can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. I. Tamaraw United in Developing Learning Opportunities (TUDLO)
Student tutors of TUDLO interact with their pupils from A. Mabini Elementary School

The Tamaraw United in Developing Learning Opportunities (TUDLO) is an educational program under Academic Affairs Office, and Admissions and Financial Assistance Office in coordination with Community Engagement & Extension Services of FEU High School. The meaning of the Cebuano word “Tudlo” is the heart of this program which means “to teach/tutor”. It aims to support the academic development of Grade 6 public school pupils by providing them with rigorous sessions in Mathematics, Science, English, and Filipino that will intensify their grit to pursue their educational journey in Junior High School rather than dropping out in school. It will allow them to push beyond their limitations and stand out among other takers by aiming higher results in their scholarship and entrance examinations, not just in FEU High School but also to other Junior High Institutions.

To cater the needs of the pupils, the program will offer a Remedial session for low-performing to better hone their skills according to their capabilities. The 10-week sessions will be a supplementary program of the partner school to ensure the mastery of the K-12 Most Essential Learning Competencies for Grade 6 pupils set by the Department of Education.

Students discussed their curated diet plans and sound nutrition practices

The Adopt-A-FaMEALy is a community extension program under Academic Affairs Office – Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) in coordination with Community Engagement & Extension Services of FEU High School. By applying their knowledge in General Biology 1, the Grade 12 STEM students creates a personalized meal plan for each adopted family, ensuring they receive a well-balanced and nutritious diet that contributes to their overall health and well-being.

II. FEUsmas sa Mabini
FEU High School Family Council brings gifts and joy to 60 Grade 6 pupils, their guardians, and 15 A. Mabini Elementary School Teachers at the A. Mabini gymnasium last December 9, 2023

FEUsmas sa Mabini is a heartwarming project spearheaded by the FEU High School Family Council to spread joy and cheer during the Christmas season to select pupils of Apolinario Mabini Elementary School. In addition to the noche buena packages, FEUsmas sa Mabini also includes a special program organized by the FEU High School Family Council. The program features fun games and activities where students from both schools can participate and win exciting prizes. This not only adds to the festive atmosphere but also fosters camaraderie and friendship between the students of FEU High School and Apolinario Mabini Elementary School.

FEUsmas sa Mabini embodies the spirit of giving and sharing, bringing joy to families in need and fostering meaningful connections between the two educational institutions. Through this project, the FEU High School Family Council aims to make a positive impact on the lives of the students and their families, spreading warmth and happiness during the holiday season.
