Program Binhi is a transformative initiative that plants the seeds of hope, resilience, and sustainability in vulnerable communities. Rooted in the Filipino word “binhi” (seed), the program focuses on environmental protection, climate action, biodiversity, and disaster education and response.
By equipping communities with knowledge and resources, Binhi fosters ecological awareness and empowers grassroots action. It also embraces storytelling to honor Filipino heritage, resilience, and identity amplifying voices and inspiring collective action for a sustainable and inclusive future.
As Binhi grows, it symbolizes the promise of transformation and the power of small beginnings to create lasting change.

- Mangrove Tree Planting and Heritage Tour

In partnership with FEU Community Extension Services and the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, FEU High School engages its stakeholders—students, faculty, staff, administrators, and parents—in a meaningful experience that blends cultural immersion, environmental education, and conservation work.
This initiative supports the rehabilitation of the mangrove site in Sitio Maibon and aligns with FEU’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3, 11, 14, and 15).
Program Objectives:
- Cultural Immersion: Deepen appreciation for Batangas’ rich heritage through local traditions and history.
- Ecological Education: Raise awareness on the vital role of mangroves in biodiversity, coastal protection, and climate resilience.
- Hands-on Conservation: Empower participants to take part in mangrove planting, promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable action.
- Usapang Kalikasan

In partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature Philippines (WWF-Ph), this program aims to co-develop learning modules that promote environmental awareness and stewardship across the FEU High School community.
The modules—designed to integrate into academic and homeroom curricula—will equip students and stakeholders with the knowledge and values needed to champion sustainability. Through dialogue, collaboration, and education, this initiative empowers the FEUHS community to become active advocates for environmental protection and lasting change.
