On February 8, the Broadcasting Media Society (BMS) announced on their Facebook page that CineMorayta Film Festival (CMFF) will once again commence this year with the theme ‘Camera. Lights on, Hopes up!’.
The committee behind CMFF 2021 is now calling for participants for the two categories: the One-Man Production and Short Film Production (consisting of three to ten (3–10) students per production). Interested applicants are required to submit a Duly Accomplished Application via MS Forms, Synopsis/Storyline, and Letter of Intent addressed to Aira Rabago, the CMFF Chairperson, on or before February 22 (12 PM). After that, all applications will be thoroughly screened and deliberated to determine the top eight (8) film entries per category. After the declaration of the final list of entries, they must accomplish their production calendar, publication materials (must be submitted on March 18, 2021), and consent letters from their respective parents. Additionally, the deadline for submission of final entries will be on April 2, 2021, at 12: 00 PM.
CMFF 2021 is open for all bonafide FEU HS students. All film entries for both categories must be directed, written, and edited by FEU HS students only. Most importantly, it must be the students’ original works. Regardless if it is a narrative, documentary, or experimental format, whether live-action or animation, the entry will be accepted as long as it follows the format provided by the committee.
For more information, interested applicants may refer to Broadcasting Media Society’s official Facebook page and Canvas announcements under the CineMorayta module.
