Queenie believes that “FEU High School is a prestigious institution”. Studying at FEU High, she says, will give her lots of opportunities to improve her knowledge in Science and Mathematics. With the scholarship, she is very grateful that she can help her brother who is financing her education.

Queenie knows that she wants to work in the medical field someday either as a licensed pharmacist or a psychologist. She believes that FEU High School holds the key to open one of the door that will help her realize her dream. She almost gave up in her dream when she was admitted under the ABM Strand in another school but as soon as she got news about being granted the FEU HS Academic Achievement (AA) Gold Scholarship, she immediately asked permission from her parents to transfer to FEU HS to pursue her dream and take STEM in senior high.

In fact, STEM was not really an interest for her when she began Junior High. She initially wanted to become a journalist, hence, she wanted to pursue HUMSS. She actively competed in journalism competitions since the fifth grade. When she finished JHS, she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine and started looking for opportunities to help her pursue her dream. She knew that her dream was not easy, especially in terms of the costs to receive the necessary education and training. That is why the scholarship saved her from letting go of her dream. When she finally entered FEU HS, she was very enthusiastic in participating in all the academic and student affairs activities of the school. She is now part of the Eureka Science Organization.
